P3D Dual Autofocus Cameras For Stereo

I have another question. I do not shoot too much dual camera on a bar
stereo, it seems to me that since the cameras are displaced, the sensors
that make the autofocus magic are also displaced. It follows that since the
sensors are 'seeing' a different view, they might autofocus a little
differently. Comments about this would be appreciated.
