P3D San Jose (South Bay) Stereo Club

As Secretary (and maybe future President ;-) ) of the 
Oakland Camera Club I must say good luck and welcome to 
our brethren of the South Bay Area! I know it has been 
difficult for both George and Michael to make it to our 
Oakland meetings. We greatly enjoyed it when you could make 
it. We all wish the best for expansion of stereo photography 
clubs. In spite of our long and glorious history, the OCC is 
always struggling to keep active members. I hope you can achieve 
the critical mass necessary to carry on a rewarding club.

I look forward to close cooperation with the club when you get
it started. We could institute regular joint meetings, once a 
year the San Jose/Southern Bay club could host the Oakland 
Camera Club, then six months later we could invite your club 
up to see a special presentation. Even if that does not work out, 
I am sure our 64 year old club has expertise we can contribute!

Don't forget, as current members of the Oakland Camera Club, you 
are invited to our end-of-the-year luncheon. This festive luncheon 
will include the best slides of our club from 1998. It will take 
place at noon on December 12th, so mark your calendar now! Good 
food (for a change- we're holding it at a new location), good 
company, and great 3-D slides. OCC members only pay $10 for the 
luncheon. Details in the next Panoram.
