So far as I know the only difference between the various formats (for
Kodak films) is the thickness of the base that the light sensitive
emulsion is coated onto. So long as you use the same emulsion code
(EPP, EPN, TMX, TMY, etc.) in different formats it should be the same
film. Kodak lists all the technical information for each emulsion
type on the same data sheet regardless of format. The only
differences I've noticed are the base thickness, and development times
(due to technique differences used for different film sizes).
The confusion comes because several of the common names for these
films are very similar (e.g., Ektachrome 100 Professional (EPN),
Ektachrome Professional E100S (E100S), Ektachrome Professional E100SW
(E100SW), Ektachrome 100 Plus (EPP)).

The green hills of the Aran Islands is were I fool the most Fuji
users. They don't realize it's Kodak film until I tell them.
