There are surprisingly few gotchas for MF stereo. Lubitels supposedly
have absolutely no quality control, yet two random Lubitels that I
have work pretty well together. One of them has a slow shutter
(possibly a one stop difference), but the images still come out OK.
I use a Hama flash aluminum flash bracket to mount the two cameras.
You might want to use something stiffer, perhaps a piece of angle
iron. The vertical edge of the angle iron could be used to keep the
cameras parallel.
I clip a strap to the outer strap lugs on the cameras and carry the
cameras around my neck. I've use both an Olympus Y cable release
(which broke on a trip this past summer) and a pair of regular cable
releases.
