P3D RE: TDC Project or View

>>Can anyone tell me briefly about the TDC 132 "Projector View" (??). A
search though the P3D archives only turns up discussions about the screen
material, which I understand is prone to breaking down after the years.

>>Does this think project worth beans, or is projection not really an
option?
What's the bulb rating, in watts?

The projector is rated at 250W bulbs. I found with mine that the result was
ok on the rear projection screen but a bit dim when projected. My other
gripe with this projector is the light leaks. Unlike the higher quality
(priced) ones there were light leaks between the left and right paths as
well as general light leaks that made the projected image look washed out
when compared to a straight line projector. I even retrofitted it with a
new bottom housing and 500 watt bulbs without fixing all the problems. The
baffles around the fan just are not light proof enough and allow major leaks
into the projection path. I have been much more pleased with my TDC Deluxe.
Regards
Mark
