P3D deletes coming up

I've been seeing a lot of bounced p3d e-mail recently. I think a number
of nets have purged their subscriber lists. In  particular I'm getting several
from earthlink. I'll be deleting these over the next few days (since they've now been
bouncing for a week or so). 

Don't panic - there is no need for anyone to do anything at the moment. But if
you get deleted, it's probably because I can't locate your address any longer (particularly
a problem for forwarded subscriptions). Just resubscribe from your current address.

Send an e-mail message to listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx leaving the
SUBJECT line blank (or just fill in "xxx" if your mailer requires one).
(Note that there is no second "e" in "listserv")...

In the BODY of the message say something like

subscribe photo-3d Alferd Packer

or whatever is appropriate. You'll receive a confirmation message back
indicating that the subscription has been submitted to the moderators for
approval. Note that the listserv cannot handle mime encoded messages, so
you'll need to make sure that you don't send anything but straight ascii
text files (check your 'options' setting and turn off MIME encoding, or
possibly 'quoted printable' boxes).

Also note on subscribing, that a "set digest" option submitted in the
same message will not be effective since that cannot be set until the
subscription has been approved by the moderators.

To UN subscribe, do the same, except in the body of the message
place the following:

unsub photo-3d

(note there is no name necessary on the unsub command - in fact if you
put one, the command will be rejected). The unsub command is matched against
the address you are sending from for verification.
