P3D reverse sticker shock

I've noticed what seems to be a peculiar trend among the big NYC &
other camera dealers in the photo mags - REASONABLE PRICES!
More and more, I notice that they're not advertising the same 3.5
Realist for $285 anymore and the prices are coming down to
the realistic expectation for used, fair conditioned stereo cameras,
including all the other makes. i've noticed this in at least 3 stores,
though I'm sure others are still trying to sell outrageously marked-up
shelf-sitters. Maybe E-Bay is influencing this trend as well.
