P3D Regarding Prices
We are lucky to live in a day when we can buy stereo equipment at such
resonable prices. In general we can buy a good usable camera (not
including the rare macros and customs) with most of its life left for
the same prices which they were originally sold for in the '50s.
Realists and Kodaks sold for $150 to $200. And projectors too sold for
$200 and up. Only the upper class could afford such exotic equipment.
And rarely would anyone have more than one stereo camera. A stereo
camera would be equivalent to 2-3 months rent. Even the cheaper
TriVisions and Coronets were a major purchase. Today we have the
opportunity the try several different cameras and compare them. So what
are we complaining about?
