P3D Re: Sell-3d policy regarding Ebay

Ebay, Devil, or Angel?

Well,  I have gotten some great deals from ebay compared to what DR.T,
Dalia, Harry, and others sell the same items for, and I have been out
bid on other items (sometimes the same basic thing as I had gotten a
good deal on), that the person paid way more for the item than Dr.T,
Dalia, Harry, and others charge.

I have sold one item on ebay, and purchased about 6 things.  ALL
STEREO RELATED.

As a buyer, I get pissed when someone announces something I am trying
to get a good deal on.  And as a seller, I didn't think to mention it
on S-3D.

I think that as a reader of S-3D I find it annoying how many times
people remind everyone about the auction, but I also don't like it
when people keep bringing up the same add (I am guilty of that, so I
guess that makes me a hipacrit) and begging a pleading how they don't
understand why no one wants what they have to sell.

If I recall correctly, back in the days when S-3D was started (I feel
so old :), we were told only to post once a month about the sale or
wanted item.  I feel that the same should apply to ebay adds:

Post once, you choose weather the day you put it up, or the day it
ends, or anywhere in between, but only mention it once.

Mention e-bay in the header, so people that don't care about ebay can
skip it.

And for you my pal Dr.T don't just keep track of the high prices, keep
track of the low as well.  I got a Red Button in mint condition in the
original box for $78.

I think that if sell-3D does still have the policy about to many posts
on the same subject in one week or month, than it should be enforced. 
If I wanted to, I could even sneak an add in to P-3D just by
mentioning right now that I have a macro-stereo camera rig that I put
together my self for sale on e-bay.  It has a minimum bid of $40 and
no reserve.

To anyone that doesn't like what is going on on e-bay itself:

If things sell for to much money, than sell your stuff there.
If things are selling to cheaply, than buy the stuff.
It is as simple as that.
