P3D President Clinton broadcast in Stereoscopic 3-D!

You know your thinking about 3-D too much when (yes I know
I'm in good company!)......

While watching President Clinton give a live address to the
nation on television this morning, I switched to the other
channels to see if it was being carried on the other ones
as well. I usually do this to see if it really is a live
broadcast or important message (it must be if all the
networks are broadcasting it). While switching back and
forth I noticed the different perspective between the
channels. Then it dawned on me (eureka actually) that this
can be viewed in 3-D!

I switched back and forth among the four US networks (ABC,
NBC, CBS, and CNN) and found two suitable stations that
had the correct left and right perspective and no
misalignments. I then activated the split picture on
my television and freeviewed the image. Presto live 3-D
broadcast! The image was a bit jerky due to the
limitations of the split picture feature of the television
set but if one had two sets side by side it should work
great.

Now this leads me to believe there must be alot of 3-D
videos of Presidents, Prime Ministers, Kings & Queens,
Dictators, etc... Pick the appropriate one for your
country. ;-)

P.S. Next time I think I'll have two VCR's ready to 
     tape the two appropriate channels and then view
     them on two monitors side by side. Now for those
     that have multiplexors, I guess you can don your
     LCS glasses and watch it interlaced! Wow! ;-)
