Isn't that something, I've owned a number of polarizing filters
over the years and never had one with such a mark. I recently
bought a pair of multicoated polarizers which are also mark less.
I figure I can match them up by putting them together and rotating
them for the minimum attenuation, and then mark them. But I like
this idea of placing the mark so that it gives max polarization
when pointed at the light source. Thanks for the tip.
