P3D Filter
>>Even better, as Ron Fross pointed out to me, some polarizers have
handles. Now, imagine... How easy it would be to align the handles.
I found one such filter in my collection (very nice long handles)
I will be looking for more. If I cannot find any, maybe we could
drill them in.
I have a whole #$*& Pot of them, and the handles use to represent
polarization rather than dots. Those made by Ednalite have little numbers
as well, so you will occasionally see them. With the Ednalite filters, they
came with a cardboard viewer with corresponding numbers so when the
polarization was set to how you liked it, you lined up the number with the
number on the filter. Eastman offered a slide on filter that fit the handle
of their polarizer so you could visually observe the effect with
Rangefinder cameras.
