P3D synch on two canon RT bodies

Hello fellow techies:
I'm going to get to borrow two electronic Canons on Friday for a session
with one of my models. I figure this is my chance to see if an electronic
twin rig will substantially improve my productivity. I'm guessing it will,
if technical problems don't mess up all my film!
So I have two Canon "EOS RT" models (this is one of the fancier models,
with a fixed, beam-splitter mirror. When you borrow other people's
cameras, go for the gusto!) and a cable release model "60 T3." I am about
to take apart the cable releases to see if I can splice things together, to
fire both cameras with one button. I need both cameras to capture the
image, although only one camera will trigger a strobe kit via a PC cord.
I hope to accomplish this via one of the following:
1. Tripping the shutters will be so well synched, that the strobe
illuminates both frames adequately.
2. The non-flashing camera is set to open its shutter slightly before the
flashing camera, and also have a slightly longer exposure.
3. Any other ideas?
If anyone has experience twinning these cameras, or dealing with two
remotes of designation 60 T3, please let me know what I am getting myself
into.
And of course, I have to get it all done in one day's time!
Boris
