With the few reels I've mounted, that insertion tool (sold to me graciously
by a photo-3d member when I asked about how to get one) works very nicely
even though I don't have a "spreader". Maybe the insertion tool acts like
the spreader as well? Last weekend I purchased a a couple boxes of older
GAF marked "new" personal reels for a very good price, maybe they'll be
different (hope not).
