Yes, for $100 :-) I still think the Realist is great stereo camera
and the red button is a great viewer... I even like the square
Realist format which lets you make the most of a square screen
and it is well-suited for many subjects (but not all).

I am sure I would. It is almost impossible for someone to try
all the RBT models if they are not a millioner or Jon Golden's
brother-in-law :-) By reading user's reviews it is almost
impossible to make up one's mind because all RBT owners appear to
be totally satisfied with their systems. I am lucky that Jon
sent me the S1 to review. I suspect that if he had sent me an
X3, I would have bought an X3 instead of an S1.
The 75 mm spacing of your RBT should not be a problem if you are
careful with close-ups. It could even enchance regular scenics.
