Thanks for the recap, Jim.

I knew that you had written to me directly about the Rebel X setup, but I
couldn't find your email!!   (Forgot your name, sorry).

I've successfully modified the two releases, and the setup appears to work
fine.  I did use two diodes, one on the focus circuit, and one on the
shutter circuit.  The ground circuit I connected directly.

It was a lot easier than I thought.  Electronics has always mystified me,
so I was a little hesitant at first.

The proof will be in the pudding (emulsion) this afternoon!
