P3D Run for Cover

I saw Richard Haines' 1995 3D movie Run for Cover at the
Thalia Theater at Broadway and 95th in New York City
tonight. It looked pretty good through the polarized glasses
they handed out. The shots that the director selected were
often interesting to look at as stereo pictures. The projection
wasn't perfect. For some reason part of the image was being
projected in a ghost like manner onto the seats in front of me
ten feet or so below the screen. This light I could only see
with my left eye while wearing the glasses. Maybe this was
some sort of reflection, it was somewhat distracting, but
didn't seem to effect the image on the screen.
The movie was a low budget action drama, not really my
cup of tea, but I've seen worse.
A short subject played after the feature. It was a sort of
extreme snow and skateboard, five minute documentary. It
was impossible for me to see, some of the shots looked to be
pseudo stereo. I tried to wear the glasses upside down. Then
it looked a little better.
The Thalia is a beautiful little art deco theater, very unique,
worth seeing no matter what's showing, I'm glad it's still
open.
