So you mean picture taking is a goal? I will think about that idea :-)

Mr Pennings is one of the most skillful instrument makers I have met.
As an example, he has made an, in my opinion significant, improvement on
one of the RBT camera's.
The SLR-based RBT models have external braces for mechanical coupling
of lens functions (no, they are not on your beloved, George).
These tiny braces are rather vulnerable, and I have seen people making
fun of RBT-owners by threatening to hurt there braces....
At the request of Wim van Slooten, Pennings has replaced these braces
on van Slooten's RBT by heavy gear wheels around the lenses, with
smaller wheels to carry out the transfers. A very robust design.
(This could be explained better I suppose, I cannot give more details).
There exists only one copy of this modification. It was shown to RBT
people, but so far they don't seem to have adopted Penning's design
for the modification (which they can use free of charge...).
So now Wim van Slooten has the best RBT in the world. It's no use to ask
Pennings to make one more, he does all in spare time, more or less for
personal acquaintances only, and he has work till the year 2003 now.
George's next question might be: who is Wim van Slooten?
You could have met him if you have attended any I.S.U. congress.
He has visited them all, from 1975 on.
