P3D Draper Screens

In another post I mentioned Draper lenticular screens in a
72x96 size...and how to contact the company. And yes, they
come in a maximum size of 96x96!

Quality??? I do not own one but was given this info by our
college's AV Dept. So I asked what they knew about Draper.
I was told that they are probably in about the same class as
DayLite and they are a notch below Brentford (sp?) which is
considered a top of the line screen.

What the college looks for is durability of the mechinisms when
the screens are constantly being set up and taken down.Certainly
alot more wear than people like me would give them. In that regard
the Drapers are about as good as any. Keep in mind that the larger
size screens are only available in the Diplomat...heavy duty...model.

The AV people couldn't speak about silver lenticular screen surface
quality since that surface fell out of favor for class room use many
years ago. Hey, that's how I got my screen...college surplus!

I'm considering a new screen and Draper's prices are very attractive.
I've not seen any of their screens and am not endorsing them, only
reporting what I know. But on paper they certainly seem worth
investigating further.
