The info is appreciated, but at the risk of getting flamed, I think that
removing parts from the camera to change something that is not really
difficult to do with the camera not taken apart, is not such a great idea.
Especially when the quote above suggests that you should check to see if a
shutter speed seems reasonable.

Should I need to do this again, I will do it the old way. Works well for
me.
