I addressed this in a recent thread on SD3D. The drivers supplied by
VRex only work well on a few systems. However, very good results can
be achieved by setting your monitor (and video card) to an interlaced
mode. Then all you need to do is turn on the glasses and transmitter
to view interlaced stereo images on the web, or converted with
DepthCharge to interlaced. With DepthCharge you need to set the default
stereo viewing to be "left interleaved".
The irony of this is that for MOST systems it is the HIGHEST
color/resolution setting that will force an interlaced mode, and
interlaced modes are more common in less expensive equipment.
Bottom line is that you shouldn't have to use reduced color with
VR Surfer.
As a side comment; it seems to me that VRex is reducing efforts and
support for LCS glasses. I hope I'm wrong.
