P3D 3D TRIO

Wow, I'm quite surprised that people are paying $89 for the 3D Trio!!
I almost bought it from 3D Image Tech when it showed up in a little
brochure that came with my last set of prints from them. I decided to
check ONE LAST TIME at qvc.com to see if they were carrying it yet (they
were supposed to be the outlet for the Trio according to the 3D IT web
page. Anyway, at qvc, they were selling it for $53! So, needless to say, I
bought it through them! I don't know if they are still selling it for
that, but it may be worth checking out. I haven't seen the results from my
intro roll that came with the camera, but the Trio is supposed to take any
speed film (it DOES seem to have the little metal "nubs" inside for
reading the DX encoded canister) AND it is supposed to have automatic
shutter speed. Anyway, we'll see.... As for the flash, it seems to be
working fine, though I've never been too impressed with indoor lenticulars
from the disposable camera anyway. If this cameras CAN use any speed film,
then why not throw in some 800 or 1600 and just say screw the flash!

BTW, at $53, I won't mind lending it to people...
