P3D Realist Speed Winding

Hi All,

Being a new realist user, I'm wondering if I'm the only one who does this
and if there's a clever sollution.

What happens is that I'm shooting a sequence in an intense atmosphere
somewhere and I forget whether I've wound the film/shutter or not. Rather
than risk a double exposure, I wind another frame and cock the shutter.

Last set of shots came back from the lab and I lost 2-3 frames per roll
from this memory slippage.

Any suggestions?

Also if the film advanced is broken in some way is it possible that it's
skipping entire pairs of frames?
