We are going to Singapore sometime early next year to visit our
first grandchild (and perhaps her parents). Of course our first 
priority is baby pictures, but does anyone have some advice about
garden variety tourist pictures?

1. What is the f/16 rule near the equator?

2. Do cameras get mold?

3. Do the Singapore police object to snapshooters?

4. Scenery?

5. I've been told that saffron is very cheap; anything else?

6. Is film available at a reasonable price?

7. How are the X-ray machines at the airports?
