P3D What shutter speed?

I want to photograph homes with Christmas lighting, after dark, and on a
very dark street. There is little or no ambient light other than the
holiday lighting. Realist on a tripod, F8, 100 ISO film.......I may not
be willing or able to trespass to get an adequate meter reading with my
simple meter ( I don't have a digital meter) I will be shooting from the
road. There is NO snow on the ground. I can take two shots of each
house. The lighting is very typical of an average lighting scheme, and
not too bright. What two shutter speeds would be recommended to obtain
decent results? ( Last year I bracketed like crazy to get some good
shots....but didn't remember the settings) I would like to give all the
neighbors a 3-D photo ( slide pair & viewer) of their home for
Christmas. The problem is I am fairly new in the neighborhood and do not
want to anger anyone by stepping on their property. (at least not yet
:-) ) Thanks for the help!
