P3D Friday night/Brackett Dissolver
Just came back from a meeting of the Cleveland Photographic Society
in downtown Cleveland. Tonight it was Stereo Night.
Long-time CPS member, Jim Kunkel, presented a stereo program with two
Ektagraphics. All pictures taken with a single SLR, mostly slide bar
close ups of flowers. Excellent work!
I followed with a few selected stereo 41x101 slides, using my "new"
Brackett Dissolver for the first time in public. This projector
takes some "getting used to". I like the ability to be able to
dissolve from 2D to 3D as Bob Brackett has shown, for example, in the
"3D Museum" show. However, I noticed that there is a small rotation
between left and right side in my projector. Also, the slide holder
in the left side does not hold the slide as securely as in the left
side. My Dissolver is an early model (no. 17) If anyone has any
experience on these early models, I'd appreciate any help!
