P3D TWIN RIG & VAT

Hi friends,

As a follow-up to Jon Golden's VAT remarks.  Let me say that he is absolutley right.  In Britain we are in the 'fortunate' position of belonging to the EU (European Union) but if we buy   -  as a private citizen  -  within the EU we are still subject to VAT (value added tax).   However if,  like The Widescreen Centre,  we are registered for VAT then we can receive the goods free of tax.    There are no other taxes applied between EU countries.

As far as a TWIN RIG is concerned,  we have found that the 5050 System using the double FED compact cameras mounted on a twinning bar with double cable release is an excellent (and truly economical) alternative.   Our results have been outstanding when viewed with both the excellent ViewMagic system for prints,  or mounted in realist tyle mounts when using transparencies.  The 5050 SYSTEM sells for GBP 129.95 in the U.K., which is about $210.00
