Thanks Peter - yes, I'm looking at OneList and Egroups - They appear to
be about 6 of one or 1/2 dozen of the other, although at this point I'm
*slightly* more inclined to try OneList. A nice feature on both is
that you can opt for an "adless" mailing for $60 per year. Maybe we
could pass the hat to come up with that (from 1000 subscribers, that's
probably reasonable) or maybe one of our commercial outfits would be
willing to underwrite the list for that amount per year in exchange
for a one or two line text link to their site.

I'm posting this publically since as soon as I return to Montana I'll
be taking down Calcite - a new set of problems have turned up now
that there is faster access to RMC (actually, calcite isn't the problem -
it's the main server - but if that's out then Calcite can't talk either).
