Sure would be nice to get the "numbers".  Anyone got any ideas on
this???


Just in case you don't have a blank frame on an old roll, I have been
told that you can get around this by scanning the interframe spacing
and/or the area around the sprocket holes as they are not exposed.  Just
cut and paste chunks to "compose" a "frame".  Not nearly as convenient
and more time consuming, but you can get the correct answer eventually.

Don't make the blank frame the first or last frame either or a zealous
photofinisher might clip off this "useless" piece!
