Since starting to use gloves recently, I've thrown them away after
each use to eliminate this problem. Particularly when it's those very
fingerprints that have been an ()*&#*&(#$&# problem previously when
trying to mount film.

The gloves I've used look like latex ones but are made of a different
rubber. They're available for folk who have alergy problems with latex
gloves (although occasional use with an alergy may not cause
signifiant problem, more for the the heavy-duty user I understand).

Mine were "borrowed" from my wife's Dental office where they use them
by the basket-full daily, or seemingly so. So another source of
latex (or other) gloves and/or finger-thingies could be a local dental
supply company (or Schein who's the biggie supplier for both dental
and medical offices).

Consider the relative price of a throw-away glove against the box
of RBT mounts one may mount using it. Not too bad of an extra
expense.

Particularly if they can be borrowed. :-)
