His domain is still registered to him and his "domain anniversary" was in 
early December, but no payment are due, so I assume he has paid his renewal for 
another year (or changed registration away from internic). 

Maybe his host is having a problem?

Yes, "dashes" are relevant, it's a different domain name when a
dash is added. Gives folk more chances to get a domain name one
likes.  :-)

I probably should put info/links for this mailing list on my site,
er, due to it's name being somewhat, uh, similar (but was about
the only thing available out of the zillion combinations and permutations
of suitable phrases I could think of).  And I had to use a dash.  :-)
