P3D Leitz thing on eBay

Does anyone know what item 55548346 on ebay is? Would this be for
projection of 1/2 frame pairs such as would be made with a beam splitter
and are mounted in a single 2x2 mount? Does anyone know of another
projection method for 2x2 stereos?
