If it is 28 pair of 5p Realist format in Spicer mounts that would take
10-15 hours - an easy weekend marathon.

If it is 18 pair of full frame from an RBT in RBT mounts that would
take 2-5 hours - an easy evening without TV.

By the way, I recommend against the suggestion of watching TV
and trying to mount. To much competition for your eyes, especially if
you are watching Baywatch or some other eye candy show. Unless,
of course you are Boris Starosta, in which case the slides you are
mounting are much better than anything the networks can offer!

I highly recommend the proper music while mounting. Matching your
music to the slides you are mounting makes all the difference in the
world. Just don't choose some tear-jerking country song or you will
be soaking your slides with saline; or some hypnotic new age
dream chant that will put you to sleep - only to wake up with little film
chips stuck all over your face; or the newest thrash metal band that
will cause you to rip the film chips apart with your bare hands!

Just some thoughts,
