In a short late night effort to tie a few loose threads with Mike K,
that I spilled over from Tech-3D:
Orthographic perspectives show no vanishing point
Hyper is hyperdimensional. This is the relationship between spacing
between cameras and field of view.
Curved "parallel" lines from short lenses appear strait from the correct
viewing position. This is not a fault, it is a matter of geometry of
viewing. Viewing and taking using the same fl lens preserves the
relationship.
Distant subjects always appear orthoscopic.
A long base line can provide a hyper (not human baseline) and still
appear flat.
And crosseye viewing is not as effective as LCS glasses for subtle
stuff.
