P3D Scanning RBT slides

My mate here at work just bought a Cannon Canoscan 2700F and has successfully
scanned some of my RBT mounted slides WITHOUT unmounting them. He said 
that the RBT mount will fit into the scan slot but is a little loose because the RBT 
mount is not as high as a normal 35mm mount. I have suggested that we fabricate
a small frame to fit around the rbt mount so that it is held in place more firmly..
