I recall some B-movie dialog. When the elderly gal picks up her photos,
she says "My only complaint is that the photos look just like me."
I think your analysis is exactly correct. Stereo is so much more
realistic, it would make each wrinkle, scar or fold even more pronounced.
Or rather, it would make them look exactly like they really do.
Have you considered *not* showing them the slides in stereo? :^)
