Hello Tom !

thanks for your concern and fast answer.

>can you tell me what type of images you create?
>Where do you usually have them printed? >
Well when I started Nimslo shooting, a long time ago, I was so thrilled after
the first result that I kept on firing at any 3D target. My fever never
cooled since. I do have a very fulfilling family life. As I believe ffamily is
the most facinating lab where ANY, each and every engendered individualís
personality is built... I have a lot of that. In fact that is, among freudian
considerations, the main subject of my show... I do have a lot of friends
involved in fashion, art, TV, radio, film and vidÈoGame industry... as a
result, I have quite a few exhibition opening, sculptors, painters,
personalities etc... I guess I realy get my kiks from portrait. My best
friend is called Wisard. Its first quality is : zero delay between finger
pressing and picture taking. I own 6 (+ one spare and 2 broken). They are
permanently loaded with 100,200 and 400 ASA bullets and fresh betteries. I
carefully use itís f stops and flash options. I do have the motorised ones (
two 3D-1000 I baught in Vietnam and one Trio I mail ordered ) I use more
seldom because of the lack of f stops and my suspition that the lenses are not
as sharp - although the sharpness problem can come too from the enlargment
mashine in the States they set up a new one this summer... as I orderd
reprints since, I could compare. It has inproved the sharpness, where the
colour remains a fluctuant thing...I send my cartridges to mother IMAGETECH
POB 4300 Norcross, GA 3091 4300 USA. I recieve the prints 1 month later. I am
usualy overhapy. Once in a while they send shit.
It is very exiting to fiddle around with the ViewMaster ´Personalª camera and
itís Anastigmat pair of lens, two real little jewels. I love itís metal heavy
task box. Tthe aimer, (frame finder?) suks because it was probably adapted for
a cyclope mole. I had to screw a little lens holder in front to correct the
corection. I chop up the uncut strip and slide the pares in the viewmaster
diskís little windows. As you might know, this camera allows 70 shots per 135
roll ! very cheap and most beautifull !

>Do you currently print them yourself? Or do you have a company create
>the lenticular from your photos?>
I love drawings. What I print my self are my 3D drawings. I am engaged in ´non
realistª texturing
I am a free lance and couldínt aford sending out a unique snapshot for
mastering. Besides, KodaK (or other) wonít agree to do unique copies. That is
w hy Iíll do things by my self for an other while. I am studiing the
requirements for a new piece of software to create lenticular master from a
unique (high definition) Photo . That is why I quized Photo 3D DigesT. I hope
some experimented person would kindly give out the method...

>Can you give me more information of the ImageTrack system? How long is it?
>Have you shot images using the ImageTrack?>
LONG ??? talking about the size off the rail track it self ? about 15 inch...
A grid lets you space the sets of 7 shots from 1 to 22 mm between each. I have
the oportunity to show a collection of 20 transparent lents of very rare
orchids at an orchid symposiun in Tokyo next spring. I had to come close to
the plants. I had to increace quality. Track was the only solution. It works
100% wonderfull : Lethal beauty ! I have the negs processed in the land of
Nadar and Nieps ( France that is ) and send the rerequests along with the
protected strips to ImageTech (them again). They are not very at ease with
handling one by one jobs...

>there are a few companies which sell software to interlace a
>number of images, then you can have it printed and placed behind the lens.
>I have created a way to produce lents at home by using anoff-the-shelf
>computer program. (I am fine tuning the process now)>
The software my friend wrote for me lets me interlace correctly. I am most
curious of the ones you mention aswell as yours.

>There are also a few companies which sell lens screen with different LPI
>(lines per inch). Some will sell you samples.>
I have contacted six months ago and recieved no samples from : Didik VariVue,
Lenticular Corporation, 3DPrinterís Source, Burder3D, (Art)n Laboratory,
Holoverse, Depthography Inc., IRG Plastics. Reasons : 1/I havnít spent enough
time with each to explain what I want. 2/ France might seem a distant place
from outside I guess. I mustwill insist...
Can you tell me which companies do you know ?

>3000 lenticular shots size 9,5 x 11 cm fit in a 3D effect framing system, ...
>Can you go into detail about this? I am VERY interested>
You must come to Paris next spring ! ...

Was fun hearing from & talking to you

very best
