P3D NSA conventions for 2001, 2002 and 2003

The NSA is investigating sites for the 2001 convention (east), 2002 (midwest)
and 2002 (west).  If you/your club are interested in having the convention in
your area AND putting it on, please send me a note.  I will be sending out
packages to interested parties next week.

WHAT IS REQUIRED:
1) Enough local 3D people to handle the physical arrangements.  Registration,
banquets, publicity, tours, etc are major tasks and have to be done well for
the convention to succeed.  (Other jobs can be done remotely - competition,
trade show, workshops, stereo theater.)

2) A venue for the Stereo theater, trade show, workshops and banquet

3) Enough rooms at reasonable rates (3D'ers prefer spending there money on 3D)

4) Reasonable access by plane and car

We need volunteers - not great suggestions for spots.  If there is someone who
is not in Photo-3D whom you think might be interested, please send me the
information.  However, if you just think that someone else should do it, spare
the band width.

It is a lot of work.  However, there is also a lot of personal satisfaction
and peer appreciation.  And, the next 10 years, you get the right to say "We
sure didn't do it that way in 2001."  If interested, please contact:
