Sure, bring on the numbers. Having just seen some examples of Phantograms,
they are interesting, but are not inherently any different from ordinary
anaglyphs. Just an interesting and creative variation thereof involving of
all things, perspective manipulation. Having the numbers and a formula makes
the creation process a bit easier (if writing software), and for those who
like math, it might provide a more direct insight to the process. (Three
years ago? Pretty good!)
Where would you put an elephantogram? Would elephants equipped with red/blue
glasses react to the new neighbors? If someone created an Eiffel
Phanto-towergram, would people pay to fly past it to see the tower? Would
they pay to see their friends in another aircraft fly through the phantom
tower without effect? How about positioning red and blue colored mirrors on
nearby tall buildings, such that an aircraft used for viewing the
PhantoTower or Elephantogram would cast a phantoglyphic 3D shadow within the
scene?
