P3D home-brew twin camera bar

I'm a beginner in stereo photography and I've just bought me a second
SLR camera (Canon T60 with 50mm lens; cable release). Now I'm looking 
for a how-to-build instruction of a twin camera bar. The bar should 
allow both horizontally an vertically mounting of the cameras. 
When the cameras are mounted horizontally the stereo base should 
be adjustable for hyperstereo. In both alignments of the cameras 
it should be possible to mount the bar on a tripod, but hand-held 
operation should also be possible.
