P3D Mounts and Archives

I wish to thank the folks who have responded to my query concerning RBT Vs
Aluminum mounts. But as is always the case, the more one learns the more
questions one can think to ask. Specifically with regard to Spicer mounts, are
these best when used alone or in conjunction with an aluminum mount? The basis
for my question rests with the fact that Aluminum mounts have channels that
assure vertical alignment and allow for horizontal adjustment. I have a few
examples of Spicer mounts (thanks again DR T!) and while these are of an
extremely high quality cardboard, they are absent any sort of channel or other
mounting guide. I am concerned that I may find myself suffering from a
multitude of mounting errors. I know that there are several mounting guides
and jigs available, but is seems that the potential for error grows with each
separate operation required in mounting. Once again I anxiously await your
thoughts and inputs on this matter.
On a different but related note a couple of you referred me to the P3D
archives in response to my earlier mounting question. Unfortunately the
address I have (photo-3d/p3d/ghindex.html) comes up with a "Server not found"
error message. Since this was saved to my "favorite places", and I have used
it in the past, I assume that the address has changed. Can anyone mail me the
new address please?
Look forward to hearing from you!
