However, in case that you do have a small rotational error
how would you get rid of it? (Not that it cannot be done, but
is is a major pain in the rear).

Have you tried pushing both chips down? Rotational errors
in Albions comes only when the two chips are not pushed down
in the mount.
In addition to allowing small roations, Albion mounts have a
number of advantages: Continuous vertical adjustment (vs.
"quantized" for the RBTs), cleaner edges, better dimensional
stability.
I use both Albion and RBT mounts and I enjoy both equally.
Mounting in bare Albion mounts is quicker than RBTs. But
if you want cardboard or glass then it gets slower.
