P3D This Takes The Cake :-)

"Sometimes the messiest, gooiest, sloppiest cake is the most delicious"
Jim Norman says. This analogy refers to twin projectors and a single SLR
cha-cha technique.....and is perhaps worse than any pathetic analogy I
have offered up to the sacrificial list. :-) I feel a duty to expand on
this analogy. Lets say the cake eater is a baby boy in a high chair. The
child will represent the slide-show presenter. He just loves the cake!!
The child's parents are represented by the audience. The parents are
very tolerant of the carpet stains, icing on the walls and ceiling,
crumbs in his shoes and fork in his hair. The parents indulge the child
but become weary after the clean-up,doing the laundry, washing the walls
and carpet etc.... The parents plop into bed with a headache! Junior
will get a cookie tomorrow but will cry for the cake! And the parents
will not want see the cake and perhaps throw the rest away. The husband
says to the wife...." I hope as he begins to learn and
understand....Junior will realize what he put us through".
The moral and lesson here is to use a stereo camera and/or stereo
projector and perhaps proper mounting and alignment would be tasty too.
Not everyone will like your sloppy cake!
