P3D Mystery stereographer on Letterman?

Hiya!

A while back ( at least a couple years ago), there was an episode of 'The Late Show' in which an audience member got permission from Dave to take a "Stereo picture". It was during the beginning of the show, and had been acknowledged by Dave during the monologue, perhaps in response to a req. by the photog during the 'warm-up' period. When the photographer stood to take the photo, he must've been using a Realist, because the first attempt failed, quite visibly, and he asked to try again! 
   Now, i've just recently remembered this event & thought i'd query the masses here online & see if anyone would fess-up (I _promise_ i won't laugh!) or knows of whom i type.
   Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

PS- Not a Realist slam- just an observation of their easily-forgettable double action! 'Been there, done that,...'  ; )
