P3D email lists contents and FAQs

Just my $.02

I thought that this was a 3D photography list and not just Realist or some
other model! Please talk about the RBT cameras and any homebuilts and
alternate ideas. I too may one day go the RBT route but having to deal with a
variety of mail lists is more than I really care for.

As long as it is somewhat 3D related and related to photography or computer
generation, viewing, mounting, taking or projecting I would just as soon see
it here on this list! I even don't mind the long technical disussions, I file
those away for future use and reference when I might get to a point where I
need the information or the details.

Just another thought, has anyone put together an FAQ for this list and topic?
Typically newsgroups will gather together the most Frequently Asked Questions
and build one or more documents/files to contain this information. An FAQ
typically is posted monthly to the group or a link to its location and is very
useful for first time vistors to understand the rules for posting to the group
as well as take all the standard questions off line as much as possible. This
might be a method to mitigate what some people must think will be excessive
traffic if someone starts talking about the RBTs. Anyway, I guess I would
volunteer to start organizing this information if the group thinks it would be
useful.

It would also be useful to have the list of email lists and the subscription
rules/processes posted occasionaly (especially if we are going to diversify
them into specific groups) to remind everyone about the groups and how to
unsubscribe as needed.
