P3D Encounter in the Third Dimension

The new 3D Large Format film Encounter in the Third
Dimension opened this weekend at three local 3D IMAX
theaters. Elvira made a couple of guest appearances.
I have seen the film and enjoyed it. I recommend it to all
3D fans.

In fact in Southern California, we're going on an outing to see it.
On Saturday March 6th, you can join members of the Stereo
Club of Southern California and members of the SCSC 3D
Movie/Video division for dinner and a movie. Join us at
6:00 PM for dinner at Margarita Jones (213)747-4400 (across
from the California ScienCenter parking) and/or at 8:00 PM for
the last screening (of the evening) of E3D. The theater would
like us there no later than 7:30 (if you are coming just for the
film!). Since the outing is on the regular SCSC 3D Movie/Video
divisions meeting night, members are encouraged to bring their
stereo cameras (slide, movie, video, whatever). For more
