Actually standard super slide mounts are designed to fit standard 2x2
projectors (if the projector's optics are up to the task).  Gepe, Wess
Plastics and Clark all sell plastic mounts (Gepe & Wess with glass, Clark
without) and PicMount sells heat seal cardboard mounts.  All are 2x2 outside,
with a nominal 38mm square aperture.  The amount masked or hidden is not
substantially different than a full frame 35mm (24x36) slide in an ANSI
standard mount (23x35mm aperture).

Fitting such images into a 41x101 mount would obviously involve far greater
waste than fitting 35mm chips...
