Western NY will be enjoying a fair amount of 3D this year.
-------------------------
The Genesee Valley Stereo Guild will be meeting April 14 and May 12 in
Webster, then breaking until September 8. Hours and hours of stereo
discussions, presentations, camaraderie and (usually) some stereo
projection, in a non-competitive atmosphere.
-------------------------
Ralph Pelto of Kodak passed this on:
Kodak Camera Club's Stereo Division has several evening projection sessions
scheduled this spring. All shows are free and open to the public. Kodak
Park on West Ridge Road, Building 28, "Theater on the Ridge", go in the
main doors, turn right, go down the stairs behind the elevators.
On Friday, March 19 at 6:30 is the Spring Salon Competition. Some
excellent images will be vying for "Best of Show".
On April 29 they will be presenting an open projector slide show to show
members' slides.
Their May 26 meeting will feature a slide show of the Himalayas, captured
in breathtaking stereo by Dale Smith.

Don Radovich is working on the next 3-D movie fest for the Dryden Theater
of the George Eastman House, set for later this year. A proposal to present
a stereo slide show in conjunction with the polarized features is also
being considered.
----------------------------
The Photographic Society of America is holding their 1999 Conference in
Toronto, Ontario. Obviously not in Western NY but only a short drive away.

Thought I'd pass it on.
Best regards,
Bill Davis
