P3D Viewmaster tips from a stereo widower

Last week I showed Helena how to mount Viewmaster slides in their little reels.
I've barely seen her since. She gets home from work, puts the kids to bed, and
disappears into the stereo room. For the rest of the evening all I hear is the
pop, pop of the film cutter. It's great. She's done with the VM backlog through
last summer.
She's developed a technique to make VM mounting less tedious.
1. She pre-stretches her VM mounting reels. Sits in front of the TV watching
Leno and gets tomorrow night's reels ready.
2. She mounts the chips in stages.
Stage A (up in the stereo room): cut the chips out, stick them half way into
the pockets. The result is six or seven reels looking like Kung Fu death stars,
with little chips sticking out around the side.
Stage B: (in the TV room with Leno): finish pushing the chips in.
I would recommend this technique to anyone interested in VM stereo photography.
The only better way -- get your wife to do it!
