P3D Film curl

In a message dated 3/15/99 7:14:58 PM, Tony Alderson writes:

mounting box) was too much for this stock and curled the chips.>>

I also use a fairly high-power light box, and this happens to me as well,
though I'm not sure I can trace it to the box, because most rolls do not curl.
Out of the 200-plus rolls I've shot over the past couple of years, not more
than 15 have exhibited this type of curling.

<< This was my
first roll of Elite Chrome, I can't say I'm that impressed with the color
and contrast anyway.>>

Me neither. I usually use Fuji Provia, though recent tries of Astia and Sensia
II have been successful as well. However, I would note that in the RBTS1
discussions, the thickness of Kodak film (though I forget which film type) has
been blamed for rewind failures. Perhaps this thickness makes the film more
susceptible to curl.

Any comments? Any suggestions for dealing with this? >>

RBTs.
